Advanced photography final exam 3

2. Monday was the 70th anniversary of the brutal D-Day WWII battle. Robert Capa, the famous war photographer, stormed Normandy with the soldiers during WWII? How many of his photos survived?

in 1944 the tide of battle clearly was turning. The Allies crossed the Channel and invaded Normandy on June 6, the rolls of film were shot by  famous Robert Capa. Yes he did storm Normandy with the soldiers. Only 10 of his photos survived out of 106 the rest had melted. Those that  remanded were blurred surreal shots.

3. What photo agency did he create after the war? Who were the other founders?.

His photographs, a deeply moving account of the boredom, terror, and insanity of war, are characterized by a direct appeal to the emotions, the response of average people to events beyond their control. Other founders of the Magnum Photo Agency were Henri Cartier-Bresson, David Seymour, William Vandivert, and George Rodger. Capa's legacy, beyond his wonderful photographs, included his commitment to nurturing young photographers, for his help extended beyond mere teaching to ensuring that they had enough to eat and the freedom.

Art Contest Assignment- DO NOT ENTER

These pictures show diversity. In these pictures there is nothing but smiles and laughter. My group members get along so well and always find a way to have a great time. These pictures are not just pictures they are are the way we act around one another. We can be silly and funny with one another and not worry about being judged. There are not many people you can be yourself around. You have to be comfortable and trust someone to be yourself around. I love my group members because they make me feel very happy and always know how to make me smile.
